I had an interview published on The Second Hanging, was offered a show at Ojai Art Center next year & will be painting a chalk painting on the sidewalk outside Indio City Hall on wednesday. If you're in Indio, come by. Apparantly there will be a tv crew or two there, so watch for me on the news! I've never painted in chalk before so I'm sure I will end up covered with color.

"Dawn with Oleander".
The finished painting. "Dawn with Oleander". 3'x5' acrylic on wraparound panel. The show in Yuma got changed a little and is now April-June with a reception in May. I feel relieved to have a little more time to work on paintings. Started another today.

Working on the Yuma Show.
A work in progress - and with a wonderful reason. I have just been accepted for a two month show at the Yuma Fine Art Center, March and April. I need a few more big paintings! This should hopefully be one of them, but I need to buy some bigger brushes to make it happen.... so here it is until I get to Michael's!
